On June 11 2026 David A Graham Associates was invited to make a presentation to the Department of Highways (DOH) in Bangkok at their Bureau building HQ outlining our joint venture with the International Roads Federation (IRF) to meet the need of the DOH for a 5-day Road Safety Audit and Climate Resilient Design training course.
The course when commissioned will be held either in the UK or Thailand and will provide managers and leaders from the DOH with a comprehensive overview of the Road Safety Audit process from Stage 1 though to Stage 4 and help the DOH build capacity in their current approach to Road Safety Audit and establish a national Road Safety Audit standard.
In the UK it will give delegates the opportunity to observe UK Road Safety Audit practice first hand with a visit to a current National Highways infrastructure project It will also correlate the importance of Climate Resilient Design for highway infrastructure going forward and demonstrate how this approach can also work to reduce fatal and serious road collisions on the Thai road network.
